How it works
- Create your choir's positions, such as president or treasurer, and choose the role each one grants.
- Assign a member to a position, from the first day of the term to the last.
- Create groups for your committees, and choose which positions members see in the Who's who.
Under the hood
Roles decide what people can do in Tounes, and a member can hold several. While a term runs, its position's role and group come with it. When the term ends, Tounes takes them back, and a role you granted by hand stays. Each member's page keeps the positions they held, from when to when.
In the app
The positions people hold in the choir, such as president or treasurer. Public positions appear in the Community's Who's who.
Roles decide what people can do in Tounes. Each role grants a set of permissions, and members can hold several.
Groups of members for a shared purpose, such as a committee or a small ensemble. Use them to send content to just those people.
Choir-wide settings: the time zone, the rehearsal reminder, what section leaders may do, who sees emergency contacts, why each profile field is asked, and the features the choir turns on or off, the Community among them.
