How it works
- Set the concert's ticket target, the number you need to break even.
- Record the total sold to date whenever you get a new count, before the show and at the door.
- Members see the thermometer on the concert; you compare its curve with past concerts.
Under the hood
Each update is the total to date, so the latest one is always the count, and a refund simply records a lower total. Concerts line up on days before the show, not on calendar dates, so a December concert compares fairly with a spring one. Sales stay open 14 days after the concert for door sales and the final count, then the history is kept as it is.
