How it works
- Write your choir's privacy notice, or start from the draft Tounes offers, and publish it.
- Each member reads it and accepts it before using the choir in Tounes.
- Your privacy officer answers removal and deletion requests within 30 days.
Under the hood
Every version is numbered, and each consent records the versions accepted and the date. A new version asks everyone again. Completing a removal replaces the person's name with "Former member" and keeps dues amounts for your books. Set how long alumni data is kept, and Tounes anonymizes expired records each night. Every request and outcome is logged.
In the app
Write your choir's privacy notice here and publish it. Members must accept each new version before they can use the choir in Tounes. The contact you enter is the one members write to about their information. Requests lists what members asked for, oldest due date first. You have 30 days to answer. Completing a removal replaces the person's name with "Former member" and erases what they wrote and entered, but keeps dues amounts and dates for the choir's books. Declining needs a reason, which the member sees. Every request and outcome is kept in the Log.
