Who can do it
The Director and the Tenant Admin write articles and manage the topics they are filed under, in Manage › Content. Tounes asks them to Confirm it's you before Manage opens (see Confirm it's you).
A Section Leader writes articles for their own section only. The choir's Section leader powers setting, in Manage › Settings, decides whether they may also edit or delete the section's articles someone else wrote. A Group Leader can't publish articles.
Every member reads the published articles meant for them: under Resources › Articles, in the Announcements section of Home, and on the event an article is linked to.
Articles only show when your choir has the Articles feature switched on, in Manage › Settings › Features. Your choir may also have its own roles, under other names, that allow the same.
How to
Write an article
- In Manage › Content, tap New article.
- Fill in the title, the Category (News or Knowledge Base), a Topic if you like, who it is for (the whole choir, a section or a group) and the Body.
- Leave Notify members when published on to send a notification when it goes live.
- Tap Publish, or Save as draft to keep it from members for now.
Finish it
- Under Details, tap Edit for the summary, the topic, the audience, the linked event, and the FAQ and Important marks. The newest Important article leads Home's Announcements.
- Under Card, add an image, an icon, and a button with its text and its link (it must start with https://).
- Under Body, format the text (bold, italic, headings, lists, links) and check What members will see. Add a Video link: a YouTube video plays in the article, any other link opens outside the app.
Publish, schedule, take down
- Under Publishing, tap Edit. Set the Status (Draft, Published or Archived), Publish from (Immediately or a date) and Publish until (No end date or a date).
- Members only see an article that is Published and inside those dates. Filter the list by Draft, Scheduled, Live, Expired or Archived to see where each one stands.
- The notification goes out once, the first time the article goes live, to the active members it is for (staff members don't get it). After that the choice is locked: the article shows "Notification sent on…" or Published without notification.
- To take an article down for a while, set its status to Archived.
- To remove it for good, tap the More button (three dots) beside its title, then Delete article. Tounes asks you to confirm, then the article is gone for everyone.
Topics
- In Manage › Content, tap Topics to add, rename or delete the topics articles are filed under.
Read the articles (every member)
- Open Resources › Articles, or tap a story under Announcements on Home, then Read more.
- Home's Announcements are these articles. The short messages sent from Manage › Announcements are something else: they arrive as notifications (see Announcements, chat, articles or newsletter?).
In the app

Articles published by the choir: news, guides and videos. Pick one to read it.
One article from the choir. Read it here, and play the video if it has one.

One article: edit its text, video and topic, and publish it.
