Who can do it
The Director and the Tenant Admin, in Manage › Practice. Section leaders and other roles don't see it. Your choir may also have its own roles, under other names, that allow this.
Both roles can change members' records, so Tounes asks you to Confirm it's you before Manage opens (see Confirm it's you).
The dashboard needs two features switched on in Manage › Settings: practice insights, and practice tracking, which records what members practise. With practice tracking off, there is nothing to show.
How to
Read the overview
- Open Manage › Practice. It lists the current repertoire: every song in a permanent playlist or in the playlist of an event still to come. A playlist kept for one group is left out, since every song is counted against the whole choir; a song also in a playlist for everyone still shows.
- The least-practised songs come first: the smallest share of members who practised, then the lowest average confidence.
- Each row reads, for example, "8 of 30 practised · confidence 3.4/5".
Open a song
- Tap a song to see it section by section, in your choir's section order, then the members with no section.
- For each section: how many members practised it, their total time, What they heard (the darker a passage, the more the section played it) and how many members gave each confidence rating, from 1★ to 5★.
- Use What they heard to spot the passages the section keeps going back to, and plan rehearsal time for them.
What the numbers leave out
- Only active members count. A member on leave or marked as staff, such as an accompanist, is left out even if they practised.
- When only one or two members of a section have a record for a song, the section shows how many practised and nothing more: "too few to show more". The same goes for the whole-choir line. This keeps anyone's own practice from showing.
- You never see a member's name or their own figures. To know where a singer stands, ask them: their record is theirs (see Track your practice).
In the app
How much each section has practised the current repertoire. Totals are per section, never per member.
Practice on one song, section by section: how many members listened, and which passages they played the most.
