Treasurer

The Treasurer role is for the person on the board who keeps the choir's dues. It opens Manage › Dues, and lets you look up members and events. That is all: a treasurer can't change members, events, the music or the choir's settings.
Who can do it
A Tenant Admin gives the role, in Manage › Roles: open Treasurer and add the person. If your choir has a Treasurer position, the Tenant Admin can link it to the role so it follows the term: the role starts and ends with the position. A position on its own gives no access to the dues.
You can hold the Treasurer role together with others, such as Member. The built-in roles can't be renamed or changed in the app; your choir may also have made its own roles, under other names.
How to
Open the dues
- Open Manage. Your role can see members' personal information, so Tounes asks you to Confirm it's you first.
- Tap Use my passkey (Face ID, Touch ID or your device's PIN), or Email me a code instead: a 6-digit code goes to your sign-in email and is valid for 10 minutes.
- Manage stays open while you use it. After 30 minutes without using it, Tounes asks again. You are never signed out by this, and the rest of the app never asks.
What you can do there
- Set up each season, its periods, rates and due dates, and record, edit or void payments: see Run a dues season.
- Give a member their own amount, their own choice for leaving, or a private note only the treasurer sees.
- Look up members and events to know who should pay what.
Hand over the role
- At the end of your term, ask a Tenant Admin to give the role to the next treasurer and take it off you, or to end your term in the Treasurer position if it is linked to the role.
