On this page
The Member role is the one every singer holds. It lets you see the choir's music, calendar, news, documents and members, and do everything that is yours: reply to events, practise, mark up your scores, answer surveys. It doesn't let you change what the choir publishes: that is for the staff's roles.
Who can do it
You get the role on your own. When someone adds you to the choir, or when you accept your invitation, Tounes gives you Member if you hold no role yet. See Accept your invitation.
A Tenant Admin can also give it or take it back in Manage › Roles. Other roles, such as Section Leader or Treasurer, come on top of it. The role belongs to one choir: if you sing in several, you are a member of each one separately. See Sing in several choirs.
Member is a built-in role: its permissions are set by the app. Tounes never asks a member to Confirm it's you.
How to
What you can see
- Your Home page, the choir's news: see Your home page.
- The Calendar of rehearsals and concerts, with their venues: see Calendar and replies.
- The Music: songs, tracks, scores and the choir's playlists. See Your music.
- The Resources: the choir's articles and documents, when they are switched on.
- The Community: the other members, the sections and the groups, when it is switched on. See Community and who's who.
What you can do
- Reply to each event: see Calendar and replies.
- Make your own playlists and favourites, which only you see.
- Track your practice and mark up your own scores: see Track your practice and Mark up your score.
- Answer surveys, offer or take a ride, and chat with the choir, each when your choir has it on: see Surveys, Share a ride and Chat.
- Choose what you share with the choir, and your language: see Profile, privacy and language.
What it can't do
- Add or change songs, events, announcements or members, or open Manage. A Director, or a role your choir gives you, does it.
- Use a feature your choir has switched off. If something is missing, see When a feature is missing.
