Home is the first tab. It gathers what matters for you this week in the choir you're in right now. Each part shows only when it has something in it.

Who can do it

Every member sees their own Home. You need no role. Some parts appear only when your choir has the matching feature switched on: the ask box, practice tracking, documents, to-dos, surveys, articles and the Community (for birthdays).

How to

The bar at the top

  1. Messages opens the choir's chat (when your choir uses it), the bell your notifications. Each shows how many you haven't read. In the notifications, tap one to open what it is about, or Mark all read.
  2. Your picture opens the menu: Profile, Settings, My dues when your choir uses dues, Switch choir if you sing in several, and Log out.

At the top of the page

  1. From Tounes: news about the app itself, when there is some.
  2. Finish setting up: what your profile still lacks (photo, birthday and emergency contact, voice part, ride sharing). Tap a line to fill it in, or Dismiss.
  3. Ask a question: type a question about the choir (see Ask a question).

What is waiting for you

  1. Awaiting your reply: up to two surveys or events whose deadline is closest, more urgent ones tinted more strongly. Tap I'm coming or I'm not coming, or Answer. Behind them, … more to answer lists the rest.
  2. The next event has its own card: when and where, the arrival time, and the weather when it is outdoors. Reply with I'm coming or I'm not coming, or tap Details, Directions or Join for an online event. Full calendar opens the Calendar tab.
  3. Practice: once you have set a practice goal, your streak and today's progress, before the homework. Tap it to open My practice (see Keep a practice streak).
  4. Homework: the playlist of the next rehearsal, with how far you've got. Practise next points to the song to work on first; tap a song to play it (see Track your practice).
  5. To acknowledge: documents your choir asks you to read and confirm.
  6. To do: your tasks and the ones you can volunteer for (see Tasks and volunteers).

The choir's news

  1. Birthdays: the members who share their birthday, today and over the next six days. Not there yourself? Add mine takes you to your profile.
  2. Announcements: the choir's latest articles. Tap Read more.
  3. Recent documents, then Answered surveys: the open surveys you already answered, until they close.

A reply, a survey answer or a finished task changes Home at once: the item moves or disappears. Push announcements arrive under the bell, not on Home (see Notifications).

On the web and in the apps

On a phone or a tablet, pull Home down to refresh it. In the iPhone and Android apps, notifications also reach you as banners, and links to Home in an email open the app. The home-screen widget shows the next event and your homework without opening the app.

In the app

Your choir at a glance: the next event, what to practise for the next rehearsal, the questions waiting for your answer, and the choir's announcements. Pull down to refresh.
